After I passed down my crown, I still was yet excited to volunteer!
With my cousin on Saturday and Sunday, we volunteered a full shift with the Miss Texas Board. We served food and drinks to raise money for Scholarships. Not to mention after one tip jar fell and broke from the wind we both created 2 more!
If you zoom in you may be able to see the jars behind me in the photos.
I was invited to attend the Meals On Wheels, Inc. of Tarrant County A Night in Casablanca charity event. Their goal was to raise funds to provide over 12,000 meals. For those immobile, Meals on Wheels sets daily visits to provide meals for those in need. I am grateful to have volunteered.

On September 23rd, I was given the opportunity to volunteer under the Miss Richardson Scholarship Org. for a great charity: Resource Center, 5 Factor (Purple Foundation). This event recognized 5 individuals that have made an impact in the LGBTQ community. Congratulations to all of the honorees last night.
On September 8th, with Miss Dallas County and Miss North Texas Outstanding Teen, we volunteered at the Taylor Hooton 2017 Gala Reveal to help raise funds. This organization was founded after learning of the growing number of middle school, high school and college students illegally using and abusing anabolic steroids, HGH (Human Growth Hormone), unregulated dietary supplements, and other appearance and performance enhancing drugs (APEDs). I am very grateful to have volunteered at this event.
